5:30 a.m.may 6, 2001. 5:30 a.m. alarm goes off. a groan escapes my lips, like always. somewhere in the next room, an alarm sounds at the exact same time. eyes pop open. a body sits up, almost robotically.5:30 a.m.
a smile forms and a tune begins from puckered lips. whistle. damn. i still lie in bed. there is no reason to get up. i wake to go to a place where i don't love anyone and no one loves me.
somewhere in the next room, a freshly washed face cheerfully marches into my room. "morning!" i respond with yet another groan. "shouldn't you be up by now?" he says with an almost too cheesy
